What Experience do we have?

Here at Bap, Crackle & Hog we have over 13 years experience in the catering industry. From Bars to Restaurants, Hotels to Wedding barbeques and obviously Hog & spit roasts, we certainly feel we have the necessary knowledge to get your event off to a "Crackling" start! 

 

 

 
 
Darren is the head chef here at Bap, Crackle & Hog, and has many years of experience within the catering trade. He has worked as Sous Chef or Head Chef at many fine eateries around the South Coast.
 
 
To list but a few, Darren has worked at the following as Head Chef;
The Plough & Harrow (Litlington)
The Barley Mow (Selmeston)
The Tiger inn (East Dean)
The Boship Hotel (A22)
The Star Hotel (Alfriston)
 
 
Here at Bap, Crackle & Hog we take Health, Safety & Hygiene VERY importantly. As such we have £2 Million Public liability to cover your event. Also all our staff have at least the Basic Food Hygiene certificate as required by law for ALL food handlers. As if that was not enough, Darren has just passed his level 2 intermediate certificate in food hygiene (as of 11th June 2010). You can see a copy of the certificate below.
 
 
 
 
As if that was not enough to give you the confidence to book a hog roast with us, then we would like to announce that we have recently (April 2011) recieved a food hygiene rating of 5 (out of 5) and this can be found on the national database of the EHO! http://ratings.food.gov.uk/
